T140 took advantage of the long MLK weekend to go farther afield…. The Troop camped at the Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley and ziplined on the highest and longest lines in the state. The excellent park facilities, from the playground to the fire ring, were enjoyed by all. Next time, we’ll go swimming.
Pack 1402 of Sienna held their Arrow of Light ceremony on January 14th. T140 representatives were on hand to welcome them as they “crossed over” from Cub to Boy Scouts. We look forward to several of the boys joining T140.
December’s campout included a Scout favorite – .22 rifle shooting! The range at Camp Karankawa has new target holders thanks to the Troop’s own Scott Unruh, who rebuilt them as a Wood Badge ticket.
The Troop also helped the camp with a conservation project – clearing brush from the horse corral.
