January 2024 Backpacking
A group of brave Scouts & adults braved cold temperatures during a 3-day backpacking trip around Little Lake Creek Wilderness area in Sam Houston National Forest just North of Montgomery over 2024’s MLK weekend. Low temperature Saturday morning was 27F! The group completed 15.5 miles to check-off one of the short trips for Backpacking Merit Badge.
